Gregory Effinger is a full-time artist, whose artistic precision and choice of subject matter compliment his love of the Rockies. Gregory paints and sells his original works around the nation. His artwork is displayed in upscale galleries in Colorado, Texas and New Mexico.

On the Easel

The Mustangs are returning in June, 2023. Greg was selected once again for the original artwork for the posters, t-shirts and promotions for this year's event.


The mustangs pictured are red, white and blue. The blue one was the Grand Prize winner from last year's inaugural Mustang Stampede.

Greg's art is featured on the 2023 Steamboat Springs, Pro Rodeo Series Posters that can be found all over town.

AIS Industrial

Greg is currently working on a 36"x48" watercolor painting commission. showing the early Stapleton airport and a 3 generation company's envolvement at the airfield.

Downtown Mural

Greg completed the mural on the Straighline Building in the alleyway between 8th and 7th streets. See the time-lapse video here.
